Event Ideas

Try one or more of these ideas…………….

Hold a fund rasining event in aid of a local charity, or the BVNA Charity of the Year
  • A sponsored dog walk
  • A sponsored car wash
  • A sponsored bike ride from coast to coast
  • A practice pantomime evening
  • A village quiz night
  • A parachute jump
  • Hold a careers day at local schools & colleges
  • Do a display at your local library
  • Run a mini marathon
  • Hold a new pet owner training day
  • Promote VN Week in your local paper
  • Run free/discounted nurse clinics for the day/week
  • Write an article for a pet magazine
  • Have a ‘good deed’ day for the elderly or infirmed, e.g. walk their dog, do their shopping, wash their windows, do some gardening……
(Note: some events may require outside approval, e.g. your local authority for licencing an event)
Remember: to be eligible for the prizes you must submit evidence of your event to the BVNA office – so have your camera at the ready!
