VN Week 2009
VN Week kicked off on Sunday 19th July at Southsea Common’s Castle Field in Portsmouth & Roundhay Park in Leeds and despite the rain a dedicated team of VN’s had many owners with their dogs dropping into the marquees for health checks & a general chat about the role of a veterinary nurse and their responsibilities in practice.
The week ended at a three day event held at the CLA Game Fair in Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire, where another dedicated team, led by BVNA President Bonny Millar, joined over 800 other exhibitors at the largest country sport and countryside show in the world!
There has also been a number of other events running up & down the country and BVNA are delighted to see many more veterinary nurses becoming involved and celebrating their profession.

This year’s BVNA presidential charity of the year is SARDA, Search and Rescue Dog Association - http://www.sardawales.org.uk and all monies raised will be sent onto the charity once all events have been finalised.
